So yesterday looked to be pretty impossible for me. I had to dig deep, and I got about two hours of sleep, but I finished my seventh year doing NaNo as a win. It was a great experience, and I definitely learned some lessons about writing while I was doing it. I faced a new challenge this year, not having the foggiest of ideas what my villain wanted before I began the month. Next year, I will most definitely return to my hybrid ways and at least do some prep work before I begin. I know I work better like that.
Today, I feel a little in awe still. I'm surprised that NaNo is over, and I'm wondering what to do with myself, but that's an easy answer. Continue writing! lol December brings more writing my way with finishing up my next book for my publisher and trying to sustain the momentum from yesterday to keep me heading toward the final finish line of 80,000 words with my NaNo novel.
Also, I'm pretty excited about today as well because my newest novella came out called Stolen, it's the first book in my Super Powered series. It's about, yes, you guessed it... superheroes! :-)
Michael Flynn hadn't realized the extent of superhero and supervillain society. When he rushes to a bank to find it destroyed, he meets a black-latex-clad woman who makes his pulse race. As he's drawn deeper into her world, he finds himself intrigued and eager to have her.

That's it for me. I hope you're having a great, restful day today! Did you finish NaNo? If so, how did you do? What goals does everyone have for December?
