A caterer provided the fixings for my niece's shower, but if
you were having a small gathering, you could do it yourself. We were served a
small bowl of soup and salad to start. Little tea sandwiches cut with cookie
cutters in the shape of hearts and circles and squares, and mini quiche. Scones
with cream and jam. Fruit dipped in chocolate and mini brownies. And tea in
several flavors. Later, a bridal cake. Delicious.Wherever I go, whatever I do, I'm always wondering how life events can be used in romantic fiction.

In answer to your question about a bridal shower scene, I would have say, "no." But I love that idea of a tea party shower. Thanks for the tip.
