Hi everyone –
I’m so glad you stopped by the Castle today!!!
One of my all-time favorite urban fantasy series, Kelley
Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld, is ending…
*SIGH* I’m almost done with Thirteen, the
final book. If you’ve never read this
series, go out and get Bitten right now!
You won’t be sorry! J
Within the last year I finally started reading Patricia
Briggs’ amazing Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series. They’re fabulous!!!
But with Kelley’s series ending, I feel like I need a new series to
sink my teeth into… Any recommendations?
Let warn you up front, I’m not a light paranormal girl. I
know lots of people love it, and I’m not bashing it in the slightest, but I
like my paranormals dark. If there are
moments in the book when I’m scared, or it looks like the hero or heroine might
not make it to the end of the book… I’m
in love! LOL
I also love really complex villains…
Can’t wait to see your recommendations! Woot!
Thanks for your help!

I'm reading Suzanne Johnson's Sentinels of New Orleans series & Susannah Sandlin's Penton Legacy.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne's Royal Street book is on my to-read list! :)
DeleteThanks for the great recommendations!
Lisa
I've just finished Karen Marie Moning's Fever series (for the second time) Loved it! I might have to go download some Kelly Armstrong now - I've only read the first 3 in the series...
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely grab a few more Kelley Armstrongs! I love Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic... But in later books you get to know Karl better and *SWOON* I love him! LOL
DeleteI haven't read the Fever series yet, but if you've read them twice they must be super good, right?
I'm off to check them out! THanks so much for the recommendation Nina!!!
Lisa :)
I'm currently reading The Bourne Identity and a couple other books. I love Karen Chance's Cassie Palmer series. I'm soooo hoping Cassie ends up with Pritkin. *sighs blissfully*
ReplyDeleteOh I haven't read Karen Chance either! THanks for the recommendation Sarah!
