Guest Author Terry Spear & Contest!

Ready for Some Shapeshifting Jaguars?

By Terry Spear

No castles in this story. But we’ve got plenty of guns and teeth. What can you expect when the drug war is alive in well in the Amazon, and jaguar shifters are trying to take a vacation in their natural habitat?

But not everything is all guns and teeth. There’s romance, humor, and tons of conflict. Think of it this way. If you were looking for a guy you know has a jaguar for a pet and you want to see him to thank him for saving you in the jungle, though there’s a little more to it than that, what would you do?

Sure it’s not a trip to the Caribbean, or a visit to a castle in Scotland, but he WAS the one to save you. So wouldn’t you make the trip to see him and thank him?

Of course you would! But what if you got lost? And what if he had to rescue you again? Only he was kind of in his other skin at the time?

If you can deal with that in a big girl way, you might be just the one for him! Think of it! Trips to the Amazon on vacation, next one in JAGUAR FEVER is going to be in Belize.

Washing up under a waterfall, swimming with pink dolphins, jungle hikes where you can see thousands of orchids and colorful parrots, the coastline where the water is pretty and blue. Not so bad, is it?

He’s courageous, a fighter, loyal and protective. And if you get sick (I won’t mention all the kinds of problems you can have there if you’re not up-to-date on shots), he’ll strip you down and wash you with tender loving care. Not so bad, eh?

You get to eat exotic food, fresh pineapple, bananas, all kinds of treats! And where else can you hear howler monkeys calling to each other in the treetops or the rough coughing roar of a jaguar?

You might like it so much you’ll want to return with Connor and share his love of seeing the jungle as a predator would. Right?

So who all is ready for a trip to the Amazon? It’s not for the faint of heart!

Thanks so much for joining me here today, and hope you check out the jaguars! More wolves to come also! If you fall in love with Maya, Connor’s sister, she’ll have her own book, Jaguar Fever, coming in August 2013!
